Children and Climate Change

Recently conducted research for the Geographical Association Conference 2023  has found that a number of things out about young people and their experience and interest in climate change.

Firstly, children are passionately interested in climate change. They are under no allusions as to how big the problem is. Secondly, whilst they are interested, they often dont know how or where to start getting involved. Thirdly, children are interested in learning both about where the problems are in the world, but also what the solutions are or might be.

Sadly, many children had become disinterested in politics and this is worrying because in our current world decisions that carry weight are political decisions and this is how our modern western countries operate.
